越前市は、伝統工芸を一つの観光資源と考え、そのなかでも、トップクリエイターやトップシェフといった数は少ないと想定されるものの、価値に強く共感し、時間とお金をかけてもらえる層をメインターゲットに舵取りをしている全国的に見ても珍しい観光戦略をしています。

 

そんな観光戦略を先頭に立って実践している越前市観光協会の 宮地 広樹 氏、上城戸 佑基 氏と、香港の盛 世匡 氏、台湾の黃奕杰 JAY HUANG 氏を交え、産業観光の未来を探ってみようと思います。

 

The Future of Industrial Tourism – Echizen x Hong Kong x Taiwan

Echizen City considers traditional crafts as a tourism resource, and although the number of top creators and top chefs among them is assumed to be small, they are expected to be of value. Although the number of top creators and top chefs is expected to be small, Echizen City is implementing a tourism strategy that is rare in Japan, targeting mainly those who strongly empathize with the value of the crafts and are willing to spend time and money on them. 

 

We will explore the future of industrial tourism with Hiroki Miyaji and Yuki Kamikido of the Echizen City Tourism Association, who are spearheading the implementation of such a tourism strategy, along with Hong Kong’s Mr.Seiki Mori and Taiwan’s Mr. JAY HUANG.
