ペリメトロン 西岡、佐々木、森から成るトリオ「圓」が取り組んだ福井県の伝統工芸を再考するプロジェクト「FUKUI TRAD」の軌跡を大隅 祐輔 氏をはじめとするワタリガラス編集チームが書籍化。福井という未知の場所で、どう課題に立ち向かったのか。「圓」の赤裸々な本音を元に全プロセスを収録しています。

 

書籍化にあたり編集作業を通して、ワタリガラスチームは越前と伝統工芸をどう見たのか？社会的価値の高い紙を提案する「paper for good」や、紙について楽しく学ぶラジオ「Rethink P aper P roject」といったメディア制作を自ら作っている千年未来工藝祭実行委員である、清水紙工 清水 聡 氏と共に現状の課題点を見つめ、どのように産地を再編集していくと良いのかを探ります。

Perimetron: Trio “En” by Nishioka, Sasaki, MoriYusuke Osumi and others will introduce “FUKUI TRAD,” a project to reconsider traditional crafts in Fukui Prefecture.Written by Yusuke Osumi and other “Watarigarasu” editors.How did they face the difficulties in the unknown land of Fukui?The entire process is recorded based on their candid opinions.

 

Through the editing process of this book, how did the “Watarigarasu” editorial staff view Echizen and traditional crafts?Mr. Satoshi Shimizu of Shimizu Shiko, a member of the executive committee of the Millennium Future Crafts Festival, is also the producer of “paper for good,” which proposes paper with high social value, and “Rethink Paper,” a radio program to have fun learning about paper.

 

Together with them, we will look at current issues and explore ways to re-edit production areas.
